INTRODUCTION AND WORK PROGRAMME

Widening Participation and Spreading Excellence actions under Horizon Europe, contribute to building research and innovation capacity for low R&I performing countries across Europe and Horizon Europe associated countries (Widening). They will strengthen their potential for successful participation in transnational research and innovation processes, promote networking and access to excellence.

Teaming for Excellence actions support the creation or upgrade of existing centres of excellence in Widening countries through strategic partnerships with leading institutions.
Twinning actions aim to enhance research networking activities, through knowledge transfer and exchange of best practices, between research institutions in Widening countries and top class leading counterparts.
