I lead the development of two programs that deal with Educational for Sustainable Development (ESD), which aims to support students in becoming future responsible citizens involved in tackling global challenges, such as climate change. In this context, we explore various skills required from students, such as argumentation, critical thinking, and digital literacy.
A chemical escape room is a chemistry-inspired escape room that has been adapted for the education system. Six escape rooms have been developed by the chemistry group and are currently operating in many schools throughout Israel.
One aspect of my research investigates the integration of technologies and innovative solutions into chemistry teaching. Considering the fast pace of technological advancements, my research aims to provide practical solutions for teachers to enable them to integrate technologies into their teaching.
