Weizmann lecture in Vienna

The Austrian Society of Friends of Weizmann, chaired by Dr. Nikolaus Pitkowitz, hosted its annual lecture on November 28 in Vienna.

Prof. Oded Aharonson of the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences gave a fascinating talk about planetary science and the research conducted in his lab.

Prof. Peter Knoll, a board member of the Austrian Friends, led a panel with Prof. Aharonson and the first Austrian astronaut, Mr. Franz Viehböck, who shared his experience in space.
