Your role will include:
- Managing calendars and scheduling meetings, including multi-participant sessions
- Issuing purchase orders
- Providing administrative support and service to the research group
- Handling personnel matters for the research group
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Organizing and coordinating international travel
- Assisting in organizing seminars, conferences, lectures, events, and welfare activities
- Submitting purchase orders
- Assisting in the preparation of reports/letters: grant reports, recommendation letters, committees, etc.
Skills and abilities:
- Academic degree – mandatory; Master’s degree – an advantage
- Experience in office management or a senior secretarial role – an advantage
- Academic background in Life Sciences – an advantage
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and work in a computerized environment
- Experience editing scientific manuscripts – an advantage
- Experience organizing scientific conferences – an advantage
- High-level English (writing, editing, and speaking) – mandatory
- High-level Hebrew (writing, editing, and speaking) – mandatory
