Your role will include:

  • Oversee the field of multimedia and IT systems that support teaching and learning, including ongoing technical support and developing multimedia solutions and lecture recordings, in collaboration with the IT Department.
  • Provide technological support for digital projects serving students, researchers, and administrative staff.

The position includes, among other things:

  • Operating and maintaining media, display, and sound systems in classrooms and auditoriums, including lecture recording.
  • Operating recording, filming, broadcasting, and archiving equipment for academic content.
  • Supporting remote learning systems (Zoom, Panopto, etc.) and their integration with Moodle.
  • Defining and developing computing/technological solutions for multimedia and lecture recording needs.
  • Integrating multimedia systems with campus IT infrastructure.
  • Providing ongoing Helpdesk services and training for students, postdocs, faculty, and guests.
  • Delivering technological support for conferences, seminars, and both in-person and hybrid events at the School.
  • Managing and maintaining computers, networks, and servers, including licensing and updates.
  • Training lecturers and school staff.
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the institute.

Skills and abilities:

•    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technological field – Advantage
•    At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within an academic institution, hi-tech, or public sector – required.
•    Full proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments, and advanced video and audio systems – required.
•    Strong command of Office365, Zoom, OBS, LMS systems, and screen-sharing tools – required.
•    System-level understanding of IT infrastructure and the ability to troubleshoot at both user and server levels – required.
•    Experience with filming, lighting, audio equipment, and video editing (Adobe Premiere, DaVinci) – strong advantage.
•    Familiarity with hybrid event management systems – strong advantage.
•    Knowledge of AV system integration with control and monitoring systems – strong advantage.
•    Full command of Hebrew and English, spoken and written.
