Your role will include:
The Department of Communications and Spokesperson’s Office is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator to manage digital campaigns and support cross-campus initiatives aimed at advancing the Institute’s key goals.
This role combines creative thinking with hands-on execution across multiple platforms and includes, among other responsibilities:
- Contributing to the development of campaign strategies, creative concepts, marketing messages, and editing and translating content in Hebrew and English.
- Managing paid campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, and additional platforms in the future.
- Planning and managing automated customer journeys via email and WhatsApp, including the use of a dedicated bot—from content creation and upload to monitoring, analysis, and optimization.
- Ongoing collaboration with designers, editors, translators, and web developers, including graphic production, landing pages, digital content creation, and performing basic QA testing.
- Coordinating and producing photo shoots, including on-site support.
- Monitoring user engagement in paid campaigns and responding to questions and inquiries.
- Assisting in planning, writing, uploading, and distributing monthly newsletters.
- Coordinating with external vendors and managing invoices.
- Maintaining organized documentation of campaign activities, performance data, creative outputs, and tracking reports.
- Identifying, assessing, and potentially implementing new digital channels (such as Telegram and WhatsApp channels).
- Staying up to date with digital marketing trends to identify new opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and privacy protection in all marketing activities.
- Assisting with additional marketing activities as needed.
Skills and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or another relevant field – required
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, advertising, or digital marketing (experience in academic institutions, non-profit organizations, or in the fields of science/technology – an advantage)
- Proven experience in managing and executing paid campaigns on Meta platforms, LinkedIn, and X
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with marketing automation systems (such as Smoove, Zapier)
- Experience in analyzing marketing data and drawing actionable insights
- Experience in academic institutions or in the fields of science/technology – an advantage
- Practical experience in building and executing paid campaigns on Google Ads – an advantage
- Experience working with CRM systems, graphic tools, or landing page platforms – an advantage
- Familiarity with A/B testing methods and performance optimization – an advantage
- Strong understanding of visual language, branding, and providing professional creative feedback
- Native-level Hebrew and high-level English proficiency, both written and spoken
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- High level of service orientation and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to work beyond standard hours when required
