Your role will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and performing ongoing monitoring of the School of Research’s budgets.
- Financial support in preparing the course structure.
• Preparing contracts for lecturers, approving hourly reports for teaching assistants, and sending payment instructions to the Payroll Department.
• Providing backup to the Head of Finance during her absence.
• Responsibility for processing payments to reviewers and examiners of reports and theses.
• Allocating travel budgets for PhD students.
• Assigning lecturers in the Tefen system.
• Assigning scholarship students in the Tefen system and monitoring their status.
• Coordination with administrative heads/budget officers for budget transfers to clear grants.
• Coordination with the Travel Department regarding travel budgets for postdoctoral fellows.
• Assisting with vendor engagements and processing purchase orders.
• Assisting in handling ongoing inquiries.
• Providing support to the Head of Finance with administrative tasks and assignments.
Skills and abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration.
• Experience in preparing financial reports.
• Knowledge of research budgets is an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with Tefen is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Office software, with emphasis on Excel.
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
