Your role will include:
Purchasing Coordinator in the Department of Physics of Complex Systems
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative tasks, including, but not limited to:
Responsibility, management, and monitoring of purchase orders, equipment, and shipments both domestically and internationally, including invoice approvals and small orders.
Training students and department staff in purchasing processes and the Tafnit system.
Update and manage department inventory.
Assist with the daily tasks of the department's administrative team, as needed.
Work with multiple interfaces both within and outside of the institute.
Skills and abilities:
- Academic education.
- Experience in an administrative role and in processing purchase orders – required.
- Experience in procurement, import and export processes – advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer applications, with emphasis on Tafnit systems, Internal Services, and Excel.
- Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent customer service orientation and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Initiative, responsibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
