Laboratory Technician in the Veterinary Resources Department
Your role will include:
Work in the Cancer Models Unit and Tissue Bank, including, among other tasks:
• Routine handling, execution, and development of in-vivo experimental procedures according to approved protocols (including injections, blood sampling, cell or tumor implantation, and more)
• Documentation of experiments and data in computerized systems
• Working closely with researchers, students, and the laboratory staff
Skills and abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences / Biology / a relevant field – mandatory (Master’s degree – an advantage)
• Hands-on in-vivo experience – mandatory at least for 2 years(experience with surgical procedures or work in a preclinical research unit – significant advantage)
• Laboratory experience, including work with cell cultures – an advantage
• Full proficiency in Office applications
• Full command of scientific English, both written and spoken
