Your role will include:
The Antibodies Unit within the Life Sciences Research Infrastructure Department is seeking a Student Assistant.
The role includes, among other responsibilities, the production, engineering, and purification of antibodies, including:
- Working in a sterile environment with cell cultures
- Extensive use of a variety of molecular biology techniques
Skills and abilities:
- Student pursuing a degree in Biology or another scientific field, with at least two years of studies remaining – required
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
- Full proficiency in written and spoken Hebrew, and full proficiency in English, with an emphasis on reading
- Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Responsibility, initiative, strong learning ability, and capacity for self-directed learning and continuous updating
