The program in archaeology integrates tools and methods from science into the study of the archaeological record, toward a better understanding of history, climate, and the development of human societies. The research involves work in archaeological excavations and in the laboratory. The Archaeological Science program is highly interdisciplinary, integrating during the studies Archaeology and Science. The students of the Scientific Archaeology unit can have a background in archaeology and/or science.
