AWARD MECHANISM(S): ACS PRF grants to support summer schools in topics on the cutting edge of science are now available. These grants of up to $125,000 are given for the creation and implementation of new summer schools with "ACS PRF" in the title. Summer research fellowships are awarded as supplements to active ACS PRF grants. These fellowships are intended to support faculty guest researchers from non-doctoral institutions. For 2005 fellowships, $8,000 is provided to support a faculty visitor. SCIENTIFIC AREAS: Research related to the petroleum field.
