AWARD MECHANISM: The Lodge annually awards a limited number of scholarships to Jewish students wishing to undertake post-graduate or post-doctoral studies or research at universities or other approved professional/educational institutions in the UK. The average award is currently around £3,000 per annum and is intended to assist with course/tuition fees and living expenses (but not re-location expenses) and supplement other sources of income. Although the scholarships are not automatically renewed, the Committee will normally make a commitment to support successful candidates undertaking Ph.D level studies for a maximum of 3 years. Applicants are expected to live in the UK for the duration of their course. Applications from those who are already engaged in the course of study, for which assistance is requested, will normally be given a lower priority rating. For further details, please see here.
