WEBSITE: Access the CRPF Website AWARD MECHANISM(S): The Foundation offers Individual Research Grants to postdoc applicants. Up to $75,000 per year for up to 2 years. Applications are evaluated according to three criteria: 1) The applicant, 2) The host laboratory and research environment, 3) The proposal's scientific relevance of the proposal to the foundation's goals. SCIENTIFIC AREAS: The mission of the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation is to support cutting-edge research to develop effective treatments and cures for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury and other central nervous system disorders. SUBMISSION DATE(S): 8 December 2010 - to the RGP (to reach the CRPF by 15 December 2010). MODE OF APPLICATION: The application must be prepared according to explicit guidelines issued by the CRPF. Applications must be prepared on CRPF forms and submitted to the RGP in 5 hard copies, as well as online. If the submitted proposal focuses on stem cells, please also consult the IOM guidelines on stem cell research before applying. Please also provide confirmation form the Feinberg Graduate School that if and when the fellowship is approved, the candidate will be eligible to be a post-doc at the Weizmann Institute for the entire duration of the proposed fellowship.
