AWARD MECHANISM: The fellowship is intended for researchers from Israeli research univerisities and is for 1–2 months in laboratories worldwide. Each fellowship is for up to $5000, for the grantee's travel and accommodation expenses. Fellowships will be awarded to doctoral students and researchers who have PhDs and MDs, up to 10 years from receipt of their degrees. Priority will be given to young researchers who don't have an extended study fund (Keren Hishtalmut) at their disposal.

SCIENTIFIC AREAS: The Aharon and Ephraim Katzir Fellowships are intended for extended studies in research and the learning of new methods at leading laboratories in the world in the life sciences, the exact sciences and engineering.
