German-Israeli Cooperation in Water Technology ResearchYoung Scientists Exchange Program

AWARD MECHANISM: In order to encourage young scientists to engage themselves in the Water Technology Research Program in the framework of the German-Israeli Cooperation, BMBF and MOST have initiated a young scientists exchange program in 1999. ELIGIBILITY: The program is open to Israeli and German diploma/M.Sc.-students, post graduates, doctoral degree students, and post doctorates candidates who wish to spend a training period in Israel or Germany for up to 6 month, but not less than 1 month. Candidates are considered as "Young Scientist" if no more than 3 years have passed since receiving the PhD. Funding will be provided to cover all necessary expenses of the applicant's visit abroad (travel, accommodation, living expenses, extraordinary work expenses). In any case (Israeli scientist visiting Germany / German scientist visiting Israel) the grant will be transferred to the German cooperating institution. Therefore, the German institution has to direct the joint application to the Water Technology Project Agency of BMBF. AMOUNT:
