AWARD MECHANISM: IMOS is offering fellowships to Israeli female students studying for their Masters and Ph.Ds. in the hopes of increasing the number of women in Science and Technology.

SCIENTIFIC AREAS:

  • Exact Sciences
  • Engineering

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Female students conducting research in Exact Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science) or in Engineering.
  • If successful, the researcher MUST partake in 20 hours of volunteer activities.

AMOUNT:

  • M.Sc.: ₪10,000 per year
  • Ph.D.: ₪20,000 per year
**Please note that if bestowed, the award will be received by the Weizmann Institute and will comprise part of the fellowship paid to the student but will in no way constitute an addition to the WIS fellowship.

SUPPORT PERIOD: 1 year.

SUBMISSION DATE(S): 23 June 2011 - to the RGP (to reach the IMOS by 30 June 2011).

ACTIVATION DATE(S): October 2011.


MODE OF APPLICATION: The application must be prepared according to IMOS-WF guidelines on IMOS-WF forms. Applications should be submitted to the RGP in 7 hard copies, as well as by email to Nashim@most.gov.il (with a CC to RGP office), in Adobe PDF or Microsoft Word format.
