AWARD MECHANISM(S):

• Leah M. Smith Fellowship: The Post Doctoral Fellowships are intended to assist in the absorption of a young researcher by an accredited research institution or university hospital in Israel, or to enable a clinician to pursue specialization in research on the subjects of depression or other disorders. fellowship support is up to $10,000 per year, with mandatory matching funds supplied by the host Institution or another source of another $10,000 per year.
• Travel Fellowships for PhD and MD Research Students: Travel awards for research students for participation in a Psychobiology Conferences abroad. The fellowships will cover no more than half of the expenses.
  
  

  Note: Applicants to any of the above programs are requested to contact Igal Nevo (tel. 3822) at least one week prior to the agency deadline, for details regarding the matching funds requirement.

IMPORTANT: NIPI will not allocate any Post Doctoral Fellowships this year (30.4.2012).
