TSA / Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance AWARD MECHANISM: Postdoctoral Fellowship Award, designed to provide funding for a Principal Investigator working closely with a Sponsor to do TSC research. The award provides up to $60,000 per year for three-years plus an additional 10% in indirect costs. SCIENTIFIC AREAS: The TSA endeavors to stimulate, support and coordinate research that will lead to a cure for TSC, while improving the lives of those affected. The TSA aims to support research in all areas that may advance its mission, including basic, translational and clinical research. SUBMISSION DATE(S):
MODE OF APPLICATION: Before submitting an application for research support, an applicant must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) briefly describing the project. If the research proposed in the LOI meets the TS Alliance’s funding priorities in a given year, the investigator will be invited to submit a formal proposal. LOIs must be prepared according to TSA guidelines on TSA forms and submitted via e-mail to: tscscience@gmail.com. Please make sure to have confirmation from the Feinberg Graduate School of post-doc status at the Weizmann Institute for the duration of the proposed fellowship.
