About us

The Weizmann AMOTech club is an initiative led by students and researchers to connect physicists in Academia and Industry. These connections are a springboard for students to enter the next chapter in their professional careers and for researchers to establish collaborations.

The Weizmann Institute of Science is a leading research institute in Israel known for its highly accomplished graduates. A substantial number of the graduates are today top scientists in world-leading companies, such as IBM Israel and Apple Israel, and the founders of several start-up companies - Quantum Machines, Light Solver, Qedma, and more.

There is an ever-growing demand for physicists in Industry and a wide range of applications stemming from core research in physics. This platform will provide a common ground for conversation and networking that will benefit both sides. Our activities are open to all WIS students and researchers, and we welcome all companies and Industry initiatives relevant to physics to reach out.
