Abstract: Understanding brain function and dysfunction begins with the knowledge of how neuronal connections are established and organised in functional networks. To address this question my lab is focused in three main questions: 1) How are the mammalian cortical networks built, 2) how do they response to activity and, 3) What are the functional consequences of disrupting the development of cortical circuitries.
