My main area of research is the dynamics of the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn. Together with Yohai Kaspi, I study the large-scale flow on the planets using forward and inverse modeling. We develop methods relating the flow dynamics in the gas giants to measurements of the gravity and magnetic fields performed by the NASA missions of Juno and Cassini.

I'm also a Co-Investigator in the European Space Agency JUICE mission, where our Israeli-built USO instrument will be installed.

In addition, coming from a background in physical oceanography and climate dynamics, I also study issues related to the Earth's climate system.
