Atmospheric Greenhouse Gas in Israel (GGI)
The laboratory of Dan Yakir at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Energy research has conducted long-term measurements of concentrations and fluxes of greenhouse gases since 1995.
Fluxnet Network of Regional Networks
FLUXNET, a "network of regional networks," coordinates regional and global analysis of observations from micrometeorological tower sites. The flux tower sites use eddy covariance methods to measure the exchanges of carbon dioxide (CO2), water vapor, and energy between terrestrial ecosystems and the atmosphere.
Stable Isotope Network
The overarching goal of the CARBOEUROFLUX programme is to improve our understanding on magnitude, location, temporal behaviour and causes of the carbon source/sink strengths of terrestrial ecosystems which can be used to improve the negotiation capacity of the European Community in the context of the Kyoto protocol.
