Israel Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC) - The Council for Higher Education (VATAT)

The IAEC and VATAT are soliciting proposals in the framework of the Pazi Foundation, whose goal is to promote the research, knowledge and training of scientific personnel in scientific areas of interest to the IAEC. To achieve this goal, the Foundation supports:

• Scientific collaborations between researchers in institutions of academic research and researchers at the IAEC centers (Nuclear Research Center Negev and Nuclear Research Center Soreq).
• Joint studies of researchers from national infrastructure and knowledge centers ("TALMI") whose R&D is mainly linked to national defence, and researchers from the academia, that will contribute to IAEC scientific areas.

In 2016 priority areas will include physics, chemistry, material science and engineering. The following funding mechanisms are available: Research grants, Equipment, and Workshop and conference support.
