Promise Bio develops computational algorithms to solve complex biological challenges.

Assaf began as a computational expert rather than a biologist — now, the balance has shifted. He emphasized how AI simplifies workflows within the company. 
Assaf shared with us valuable insights:
- Know your strengths and skillset.
- Building a company requires much more than just tech knowledge.
- Identify gaps in your technology and build a strong team.
- Don’t fall in love with your technology — fall in love with the idea of building a company.
- Founders need partners who can bridge their weaknesses — in Assaf's case, legal and financial gaps were filled by a co-founder.
 - Science is just the beginning; fundraising, team building, and practical decision-making are essential.
- Leadership means prioritizing, letting go of ego, and preparing for challenges like early-stage lack of income.

He ended his talk with a thought-provoking question: Do you plan your research based on your PI’s interests, or with your future in mind?
