Bina nurture committee announces support of Prof. Ziv Reich’s “Next Generation Monitoring of Bioproduction” project

The Bina Committee for the Nurture program is pleased to support an innovative new project, “Next Generation Monitoring of Bioproduction,” in Prof. Ziv Reich’s lab at the Department of Biomolecular Sciences, Weizmann Institute of Science.
This groundbreaking research aims to develop an automated system for monitoring quality attributes in fermenting cultures at the single-cell level.
The project will be led by Dr. Yonatan Nutkewitz and mentored by Dr. Or Rotem, a molecular microbiologist with extensive industrial expertise.
Project guidance is provided by Hezi Sztainberg from the Bina team, and Jacob-Orry Fierer from YEDA, the technology transfer company of the Weizmann Institute of Science.
