Dr. Reut Mashiach Takes Part at Quantum Computing Retreat

Dr. Reut Mashiach from the Bina team recently took a deep dive into the world of Quantum Computing during a 3-day desert retreat led and initiated by Joab Rosenberg. Participants explored the fundamentals of quantum mechanics, uncovering the strange beauty of quantum theory and its surprising outcomes. 
They were inspired by Prof. Ofer Firstenberg, who gave a glimpse into his Light-vs-Matter Lab innovations - great science driven by true passion and creativity. Participants learned what makes a quantum computer unique, how quantum gates operate, and gained insights into the global and Israeli quantum markets, as well as their emerging applications. 
Between discussions about Schrödinger’s cat, nights under the desert sky, and a few penny drops moments during mathematical proofs, we were reminded that innovation begins with curiosity - and grows through exploration and connection.
