A special screening of Yaron Zilberman’s (Valley of Tears) extraordinary documentary project, featuring 12 out of 17 episodes telling the harrowing, tragic, and heroic story of the residents of Kibbutz Nir Oz, more than a quarter of whom were kidnapped or murdered. The series offers an intimate, in-depth portrait of the traumatic experiences of the kibbutz’s residents, alongside the kibbutz’s fascinating history and the unique communal bond of this one large family that endured a horrific massacre and is now seeking ways to survive, heal, and even grow, while preserving the dignity and memory of the victims.
