Chemical and Structural Biology
In our lab, we study how pathogenic viruses enter cells, how the immune system recognizes viruses, and how viruses evade the immune response. We elucidate the molecular mechanisms that drive these processes using various structural approaches. Our research is ranging from fundamental science to the development of anti-viral countermeasures.
