Transportation & Traffic Unit 

The Transportation & Traffic Domain is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the institute’s entire transportation system—ensuring safe, efficient, and accessible mobility for employees and visitors. We work continuously to enhance traffic safety across the campus, implement professional on-site solutions, and provide ongoing support for mobility and organized transportation needs.

Responsibilities and Services

Traffic safety across the institute: Promoting, maintaining, and monitoring traffic safety, including engaging traffic engineers to assess and implement safety solutions as required.

Transportation and shuttle services management: Contracting and ongoing coordination with taxi providers and public/organized transportation service providers, including managing shuttle bookings (taxis and buses) through the shuttle management system.

Driving authorizations and procedure refreshers: Issuing driving authorizations for a range of vehicles—golf carts, private vehicles, and heavy vehicles—along with training and refresher sessions as needed.

Fleet and golf cart management and maintenance: End-to-end management of the institute’s fleet, including leasing, insurance, accident handling, subscription management, breakdown support, coordination with garages, and engagement with technicians and service professionals for maintenance and repairs.

Fitness-for-use and safety inspections: Conducting routine safety inspections for golf carts and monitoring their operational readiness to maintain high safety standards and reliable performance.
