Recycling Centers
Recycling centers have been set up behind the Lopatie Building, next to Charlie’s Restaurant and in the residential areas. Each center has large bins for collecting cardboard, paper and plastic. Next to each building there are containers for paper, small bottles and cans, batteries and empty toner cartridges.
Plastic and plastic tube racks are collected in dedicated containers. The received payment is dedicated for the "green" activities in the Institute.
Orange containers for collecting packages are placed in the residential areas.
Electronic waste is collected by prior arrangement.
Wood chips
Wood chips derived from trees cut down at the Institute provide a natural and decorative ground cover. It is environmentally friendly, prevents the growth of weeds, and prevents wet ground becoming muddy.
