Recreation

The Shirley and Meir Weisgal Recreation Center of the Institute is open all year round.

The facilities include two swimming pools (one heated), a pool for toddlers (open from April to October), tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, and a state-of-the-art fitness gym.

The recreational facilities may be used by members only. One-time only access to the swimming pool is available for guests, with an entrance fee. Visitors who are here for less than 10 days do not need to register, and will enjoy free access by presenting their Visiting Scientists ID card.

To register for membership you will need:

• an Institute ID card
• a photograph of each family member included in the membership
• checkbook or credit card
