Yuvi Kahana is a researcher in the field of immersive sound and psychoacoustics. He lectures around the world in his unique field—the use of optical sensors for the study of speech and hearing in fMRI (Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging) systems—and their effects on the cognitive system, body, and soul.

Yuvi led the Music Art Medium “Sense of Listening” as part of the ARTIS Program 2025.

Nitzan Lederman is a somatic educator and contemporary dance choreographer based in Tel Aviv, specializing in the integration of body awareness and movement exploration. Her approach emphasizes the connection between physical sensations and emotional expression, fostering a deep understanding of the body’s intelligence.

Nitzan was leading the Movment Art Medium "Sense of Being" of the ARTIS Program 2025.

Chef and Entrepreneur in World of Food Waste

Shalom Simcha Elbert is an entrepreneur in world of food waste. Shalom is known for his approach on creating better food systems with a focus on upcycling discarded produce back into the system or into other realms. He is the former head of R&D at OCD group in Tel Aviv, and is the founder of TamarE, an umami rich date sauce.

Shalom was leading the Culinary Art Medium of the ARTIS Program 2024 and 2025.

Contemporary Dance Choreographer

Bosmat Nossan is a contemporary dance choreographer based in Tel Aviv, whose distinctive style draws from science fiction and surrealist aesthetics, incorporating unnatural and exaggerated movements. A former dancer with the acclaimed Batsheva Dance Company, she now serves as the artistic director of the Gaga Teacher Training Program in Israel.

Supported ARTIS as an art-based researcher and led the reflection sessions during 2023 and 2024. Michal maintains art-making as a mode of inquiry and a source of knowledge, viewing hands-on artistic endeavors as pillars of research practice and ethics.
