Anat Moshkovski | A Conversation and Music
Anat Moshkovski is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and clarinetist. Following a successful album in English and French (Anat) and an international breakthrough with the French single based on the Hebrew hit HaYalda Hachi Yafa Ba’Gan (The Most Beautiful Girl in the Kindergarten, in collaboration with Shuzin / Yonatan Levin / Uzi Navon), she is now releasing her first full album in Hebrew, entitled 89 Seconds. Written during the war, the album confronts what sustains us: our most intimate relationships, our partners, our mothers and fathers, aging, loneliness, and the meaning of music.
Alongside her solo career, she has collaborated over the years with Yoni Rechter, Shlomi Shaban, the Israeli Jazz Orchestra, the Hazelnuts (Ha’Ahayot Luz) , the Israel Camerata Jerusalem, Marsh Dondurma, and others, and has performed at major festivals such as the Piano Festival and InDnegev.
To mark the launch of her new album, Sela Jazz Bar is hosting Anat Moshovski for an intimate evening of conversation and music, exploring topics such as the choice of music as a way of life, mother tongue and creative language, saving and being saved, and words, notes, and hope.
