An intriguing duet by two virtuosos – Salit Lahav and Marcelo Nami, performing choro, forró, samba, and bossa nova, with rhythms from Venezuela and Argentina alongside local original compositions. 

Salit Lahav, a multi-instrumentalist musical composer and arranger, has released three albums and been featured in dozens more. She has collaborated with musicians such as Yamandu Costa, Chuchito Valdés, David Broza, Gali Atari, Danny Robas and more. She also founded the choro ensemble Chorolê, “Clube do Choro de Israel”, and QuatRio, which blends jazz, Brazilian music, and Mediterranean groove. 

Marcelo Nami, guitarist, composer, and international producer – his music draws inspiration from samba, bossa nova, jazz, flamenco, and Middle Eastern music. He has released three original albums and performed with leading Brazilian artists, including Chico Buarque, Ivan Lins, and more. He has also collaborated with local musicians, including Yoni Rechter, Matti Caspi, Shlomo Ydov, David Broza, Danny Robas, Lea Shabat, Nurit Galron and more.

Dina Kitrossky is a highly regarded pianist and composer. After studying Middle Eastern piano performances as she made her mark in the jazz world, she is able to give the piano new colors and her own deeply personal inner world. Kitrossky takes a distinctly Western instrument and uses maqams, rich harmonies, and quarter tones to infuse it with the soul and depth of the East. The result is a new, personal, complex, and moving musical language – one in which every note carries meaning. The trio will perform pieces from Waves, Kitrossky’s debut album (December 2023). Together with double bassist Bar Geva and drummer Yaniv Loven, they create a vibrant onstage dynamic – one of improvisation, musical dialogue, and a constant search for color and depth. A chance to dive into a personal world of intriguing and daring music – one that forms a natural bridge between ancient tradition and contemporary innovation.

Modern jazz is fused with Latin influences and local sounds in this performance. The Ari Erev Trio creates an intimate yet dynamic space into which each musician brings their distinct voice, and together they build a rich, cohesive, and exciting sound. Improvisations are interwoven with intelligent and flowing compositions, and onstage communication brings each moment vividly to life -- sparking the imagination and leaving the audience with a sense of a delicate musical and spiritual journey.
