Exhibition On Screen | לוסיאן פרויד - דיוקן עצמי

בשיתוף עם סינמטק ירושלים

בפעם הראשונה בהיסטוריה, האקדמיה המלכותית לאמנות בשיתוף עם המוזיאון לאמנות בבוסטון, ערכה תערוכה מקיפה של הדיוקנאות העצמיים של לוסיאן פרויד: עשרות ציורים, הדפסים ורישומים, שבהם המאסטר של האמנות המודרנית הבריטית הפנה את מבטו המסקרן אל עבר עצמו. אחד מהאמנים הנערצים בכל הזמנים, לוסיאן פרויד הוא מהציירים הבודדים במאה ה-20 שעסק בסוגת הדיוקן העצמי בצורה רציפה. מכלול היצירה שלו, מאפשר הצצה מרתקת אל תוך תהליך מחשבתו והתפתחותו של האמן, לדינמיקה של ההזדקנות ולהתפתחות הייצוג העצמי. אחת לחודש בשישי בבוקר, יוקרן סרט אחד מתוך הסדרה הבריטית EXHIBITION ON SCREEN אשר מעבירה את חווית הצפייה באמנות לקולנוע. שוטטות קולנועית המרכיבה דיוקן ותובנות של גדולי המאסטרים, בליווי תובנות של היסטוריונים, אוצרים ומבקרי אמנות מובילים בעולם. בראש המיזם עומדים הבמאי והמפיק עטור הפרסים פיל גרבסקי והבמאי דיויד ביקרסטאף. השניים חלוצים ביצירת סרטי אמנות ובשיתוף פעולה עם המוזיאונים החשובים בעולם כמו הנשיונל גלרי בלונדון, המומה בניו יורק, הגלריה הלאומית לאמנות בוושינגטון ועוד.
