Working for the world’s top chefs from Paris to Monaco, he strives to become the best and to fulfill his dream of winning the international pastry championship.
A film that reminds us there is still good in the world, full of beauty, inspiration, courage, and talent; based on the true and extraordinary story of Chef Yazid Ichemrahen, who managed to beat the odds and escape a seemingly predetermined future to let his star shine bright.

The Poetry of Science: The Ofer Lider Prize for Creative Writing by a Scientist

As part of the “Poetry of Science” project, a prize is awarded annually to scientists who create and write poetry or prose by the Weizmann Institute of Science.
The competition reflects the affinity between science and the humanities, encouraging scientists to engage in artistic creativity.

An evening of poetry, meeting the award winners and music by Talia Danzig.

Conducted under the auspices of the Weizmann-Mandel Program.
