תערוכות על המסך: פיקאסו הצעיר

סרטים רבים כבר עסקו בשנותיו האחרונות של פאבלו פיקאסו: האמנות, הרומנים, חוגי האמנים והידידים הגדולים.  הסרט פיקאסו הצעיר מתבונן על השנים המוקדמות שלו של פאבלו פיקאסו : שנות ההתבגרות והלימודים שהובילו להישגיו יוצאי הדופן. מלגה, ברצלונה ופריז משחקות תפקיד משמעותי במסע הזה, והסרט בוחן את השפעתם של המקומות בהם הוא חי וגדל על האמן, דרך עבודות ספציפיות מאותן שנים. הסרט גם בודק כיצד למד פיקאסו את אומנותו באמצעות התמקדות בשתי תקופות משמעותיות: התקופה הכחולה והורודה – אנחנו חוזרים אל שנת 1907 ואל יצירתו המשמעותית “העלמות מאביניון” – שהיכה בתדהמה את עולם האמנות ושינה אותו לבלי הכר, כשהיה בן 25 בסך הכל. בסיוע המוזיאונים של מלגה, ברצלונה ופריז, “פיקאסו הצעיר” מתבונן על דרכו של האמן אל פסגות יצירתו.
