Chemical Physics

Chemical physics investigates phenomena related to physics and chemistry using techniques from atomic and molecular physics and condensed matter physics; it is the branch of physics that studies chemical processes from the point of view of physics. Its scope covers spectroscopy, dynamics, kinetics, statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, surface science, catalysis and quantum mechanics.
