Inorganic nanotubes

MoS2 nanotube under
gold contacts

Electronic measurements of nanotubes are of great interest for fundamental understanding of the physical phenomena in quasi-one-dimensional systems as well as the possibility to fabricate new electronic devices based on these nanotubes.

This project focuses on surveying the transport characterizations of inorganic nanotubes, such as WS2 and MoS2, synthesized by the group of Reshef Tenne at the Materials and Interfaces Department here at the Weizmann Institute.
