- Phone extension or mobile phone number
A person who is injured or suddenly ill will be provided initial care by the closest available authorized person at the time. If needed, the injured or ill person should be accompanied to the Kaplan Medical Center Emergency Room in coordination, and with the assistance of, the Security Department. The person accompanying the injured or ill person should remain until a physician determines if the injured or ill person should be released or hospitalized, or if there is further need for assistance.
Any accident or injury should be reported to the Safety unit as soon as possible. A work accident report should be completed within 48 hours of an accident occurrence, and the signed report form should be forwarded to the Safety unit. In case of damage to property, the report should be sent to the insurance supervisor of the Institute.
A defibrillator is a resuscitation device that delivers an electric shock to the heart to try to restore normal rhythm.
