The Department of Science Teaching at the Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS) will award this academic year a prize of $5,000 to an outstanding Ph.D. student whose research is in science or science education, who is in transition to start postdoctoral training in science education abroad. A special committee of WIS scientists will review the nominations and select the winner. The CALL is open to the nomination of candidates from all the universities in Israel.

The Department of Science Teaching at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel invites candidates of exceptional scholarly and professional achievement to apply for tenure-track or tenured positions at the rank of Senior Scientist (equivalent to Assistant Professor), Associate or Full Professor. The positions are for physics education, chemistry education, life science education, earth science education, environmental education, computer science education, mathematics education, and other areas associated with science/mathematics education such as learning technologies, public outreach, medicine education, citizen science, etc.
