Your role will include:
- Characterization, management, coordination, and supervision of plumbing and gases projects at the institute, and engineering support for construction projects (accompanying planning, consulting, supervision, and acceptance of systems).
- Handling complex plumbing infrastructure malfunctions through contractors.
- Preparation of estimates, issuance of orders, and approval of accounts/invoices.
- Approval of plumbing plans, equipment approvals, and preparation of standards for equipment and plumbing systems.
- Working in many interfaces within and outside the institute.
Skills and abilities:
- Certified Practical Engineer certificate in one or more of the following fields: Mechanical / Civil / Water / Another technical profession
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role - mandatory
- Knowledge and experience in designing plumbing systems
- Experience in managing and supervising infrastructure works for sewage lines, drinking water, laboratory piping, fire extinguishing, compressed air, gas systems, treated water, steam, and domestic plumbing - mandatory
- Ability to read blueprints and plumbing plans - mandatory
- Experience working with the "Tafnit" procurement order issuance system - an advantage
- Full proficiency in the Hebrew language, as well as technical English proficiency
- Ability to manage and motivate contractors
- High level of interpersonal skills, communication, and service awareness
- Willingness for strenuous work and beyond standard working hours, when necessary
