Your role will include:

  • Overall responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and management of specialized research equipment, including training and support for students and researchers, scientific consulting, and development of advanced processes.
  • The role includes work in a cleanroom environment, providing both practical and theoretical training, and developing processes while optimizing parameters for diverse research needs.
  • Leading and initiating scientific projects and process development activities — from defining research goals, through planning and conducting experiments, to analyzing results, drawing conclusions, and implementing solutions.
  • Ongoing collaboration with research groups and multidisciplinary teams, including coordination between different interfaces and clear, professional communication of findings and processes.
  • Ongoing maintenance responsibility for equipment and systems.
  • Full-time position (100%); on-site work only (no remote work).

Skills and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Engineering / Physics / Chemistry.
  • Proven experience in micro/nano-fabrication within cleanroom environments.
  • Broad knowledge and deep understanding of material deposition and etching processes, thin-film characterization, and the electrical and magnetic properties of thin films.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with vacuum systems.
  • Experience working with complex computerized, control, and mechanical systems.
  • Analytical thinking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to initiate, lead, drive processes, and work independently.
  • High service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and order.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
