Your role will include:
We are seeking a Research Staff to join multidisciplinary projects focused on environmental exposure and its impact on the function of various cell types, with an emphasis on inflammation mechanisms, oxidative stress, and toxicity.
Job Description:
- Routine work with cell cultures, including thawing, counting, seeding, passaging, and freezing
- Performing experiments in cell cultures, including exposure to various substances and conducting cellular assays (e.g., qPCR, ELISA, FACS)
- Working in accordance with safety regulations, including proper disposal of biological waste
- Ongoing maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Administrative management of the laboratory, including inventory and supplies management
Skills and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field – חובה (Master’s degree – advantage)
- Hands-on experience with cell culture – חובה
- Experience with qPCR and/or FACS – a significant advantage
- Experience with in vivo work – an advantage
- High level of responsibility, accuracy, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High motivation and interest in applied biological research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
