Promoting Young Women Researchers in Academia

Joint initiative of the Young Israel Academy and the Committee for Gender Equality in Higher Education of the Malag/Vatat, chaired by Prof. Yonina Eldar. The event included a presentation of the activities of the committee including the new “equator” program officially passed in 2020 which for the first time requires Israeli Higher Education Institutions to report on gender status in a variety of different categories and provides budgets to the institutions according to their effort in promoting gender fairness measured by quantitative parameters.
