The Zeiss 710 Confocal Microscope

in the Department of Molecular Cell Biology

The purchase of the Zeiss 710 Laser Scanning Microscope was made possible by the kind contribution of the Adelis Foundation to Dr. Oren Schuldiner’s lab and the Department of Molecular Cell Biology at the Weizmann institute.

In our lab, we use confocal microscopy to image whole mount Drosophila brains. This allows us to produce high resolution 3D images of complex structures.

We welcome you to take advantage of this magnificent microscope.
