Programs and Processes Branch
The Procurement division Programs and Processes branch is responsible for formulating processes, managing projects, and implementing, leading and coordinating programs, all while taking into account all divisional procurement aspects.
Key Programs and Processes branch roles include:
- Process enhancement and development – identifying opportunities to improve procurement and supply chain processes, implementing new technologies and developing new procedures.
- Project management – formulating, leading and implementing annual projects.
- Divisional knowledge management – mapping out and identifying core processes, implementing and controlling knowledge management methods.
- Strengthening work interfaces – establishing forums to enhance work relations.
- Developing knowledge resources – locating consulting firms to analyze market trends.
Branch efforts in managing procurement and supply chain processes ultimately optimize the Institute’s performance, and contribute to its high operational standards.

Procurement Programs and Projects Section
The Procurement Programs and Projects section is responsible for defining organizational processes in a range of Procurement division domains, and for improving, supporting and effectively implementing them. Section staff is charged with examining and recognizing the needs of the division, defining new work processes and improving existing ones accordingly, formulating solutions to issues that arise in the division, and assisting in their implementation, all while supporting data analysis and work methodology formulation.
