The Procurement division, a key pillar of the Weizmann Institute, is tasked with ensuring provision of professional, high-quality and efficient response to every possible scientific and administrative procurement need, all while maintaining full transparency and integrity, and the highest degree of excellence.
The division’s success is predominantly dependent on its human capital – our team of dedicated, skilled and proficient employees, who invest tireless efforts in realizing the division’s main supply chain-driven objectives. These include scientific procurement activities both in Israel and abroad, tender management, process and project planning, supervision of service quality opposite hundreds of suppliers, maintenance of inventory, catalog, and thousands of import and export processes, project-oriented procurement economics, warehouse management and inventory planning, storage, supply and intake, and more.

Supplier Evaluation Program
Once a year, a questionnaire is distributed to Weizmann Institute scientists and employees, to help examine and improve relations with various suppliers. This process facilitates supplier performance assessment and supports supplier workflow improvement, with regard to both received product quality preservation and cost reduction, all while expediting delivery times. Your cooperation in the process is important to ensuring shared success.
The Yeela System
The Ministry of Agriculture's Yaala system provides online service related to a range of domains, including submission of applications for animal and animal produce import licenses.
As an aspect of improving work processes, the various courier companies (FEDEX, DHL, UPS) will carry out application submission and fee payment processes for the Institute's users on the Ministry of Agriculture’s Yaala system.
Off-the-shelf Products
