General Service Information

In recent years, the Procurement division has been spearheading a scientific equipment maintenance cost analysis process, so as to maximize capitalization on potential benefits of the Institute’s sheer size, and enable informed decision-making regarding service agreements and maintenance costs. Analysis of the maintenance expenses paid out to key suppliers, from an all-inclusive, cross-departmental perspective, can in fact contribute to cost savings. The Procurement division consolidates the needs of all departments, consequently making it possible to benefit from reduced hourly rates, transportation cost savings, spare part and maintenance service discounts, and maximized service levels set in SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
